These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Skorrd platform, website, and services operated by Blake Ryan Waterhouse trading as SKORRD (ABN 38 623 713 636), of New South Wales, Australia ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using Skorrd, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. About Skorrd

Skorrd is an online marketplace that connects customers with local service businesses offering discounted, last-minute appointment slots. We act as a technology intermediary — we do not provide the services listed on the platform ourselves, and we are not a party to the contract between a customer and a business.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make bookings on Skorrd. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information.
• Keeping your password secure and not sharing it with others.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

4. Bookings

When you book a slot through Skorrd:

• You enter into a direct agreement with the business providing the service.
• You are responsible for attending at the appointed time.
• Cancellation and refund terms are set by the individual business and will be communicated at the time of booking.
• Skorrd is not responsible for the quality, safety, or delivery of services provided by businesses listed on the platform.

5. For Business Owners

If you register as a business on Skorrd:

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, including pricing, availability, and service descriptions.
• You must honour all confirmed bookings unless you have a legitimate reason to cancel, in which case you must notify the customer promptly.
• You agree not to list services that are illegal, unsafe, or misleading.
• Skorrd reserves the right to remove any listing or suspend any business account at our discretion.

6. Pricing and Payments

Skorrd currently facilitates bookings free of charge for both customers and businesses. Pricing displayed on slots is set by the business and may be subject to change. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with reasonable notice.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Post false, misleading, or deceptive content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or businesses.
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the platform without our written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Skorrd platform, including logos, design, text, and software, is owned by or licensed to Blake Ryan Waterhouse trading as SKORRD. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Skorrd and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.
• The conduct, acts, or omissions of any business or customer using the platform.
• Service interruptions, data loss, or technical failures.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in connection with the relevant booking.

10. Disclaimers

The Skorrd platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Third-Party Services

Skorrd integrates with third-party providers (such as payment processors and mapping services). Your use of these third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify users via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of Skorrd after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
